I believe what you composed made a lot of sense. But, what about this? what if you added a little content? I am not saying your content isn't good, but suppose you added a headline to possibly get people's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda vanilla. You could peek at Yahoo's home page and watch how they write news headlines to grab viewers interested. You might add a related video or a pic or two to grab readers interested about what you've written. Just my opinion, it might bring your posts a little livelier.
